#15 My 20-ish? Favorite Books

Some Books are candy others are chili with lots of lard.

Below is a list of some of my favorite books. They are not in any particular order. Furthermore, just because a book is on this list does not mean I agree with everything in the book. These books are all chili. They make me think, some I have read once others 10+ times. Books like “Jurassic Park“ I might read twice a year but they don’t impact my life the same way these books do so they are not included on this list. Furthermore the Bible is not on the list as its not really a book.

This is a list of the best books. By what metric are these the best books? Sometimes the answer is in the question. For me the question is, what does it mean to be alive, to be a man? I don’t know the answer to that question but if you ask me this is part of the answer.
