65 out of 100

20 The entire topic of this sermon is the easy way in which we can come to Christ.

1-20 Holds Attention

15 The sermon holds your attention by giving numerous stories and examples.

1-20 Compelling

15 The sermon fights the preconceived notions of the audience by giving unemotional examples of coming to Christ. Or put another way by showing a manly way to come to Christ.

1-20 Memorable

10 The idea that there is many ways to approach God has not previously crossed my mind. And it has made an impression.

1-20 Application to Life

5 Being an evangelistic sermon there is not much application past the cross.

Thoughts

Billy Sunday was known as an acrobat for Christ and as a good speaker. I am only able to read this sermon so I cannot speak to the theatrics. But the sermon itself is somewhat poor as scripture is in many ways secondary. Yet the message is interesting, clear, and worth hearing.
