#53 Questioning Prayer

“Christ!
Oh Christ!

Why don’t I pray more?
To be in your presence is a blessing to me!
What am I doing?
Days past without prayer,
They are lost!

A day without prayer is like a day without breathing. How am I alive if I have not prayed? Am I spiritually dead? God let me live! I want to know you!

Do not leave me in my ignorance! In my misgivings, In my regret.

Rescue me that I may continue.
That I may call on the name of the Lord.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
The God of Hope.”
