#90 Habit Tracker

Continual improvement is a worthwhile challenge to pursue. Attached is a link to a Google Sheet and a printable page that can be used for tracking goals. If you save a copy of the Google Sheet then you can download the sheet and change the goal to whatever you want.

In this example I have it optimized for developing better self care and your relationship with God.

The setup

It is set up so that you can give yourself points for successfully completing your goals. From eating healthy, brushing your teeth, and remembering to pray! A general rule of thumb for this tracker is to give yourself one point for each completed task. For running it is one point for every ten minutes or every mile. Similarly with practicing guitar, playing with kids, cleaning the house, or praying, give yourself one point for every ten minutes. This allows you to see your progress over time.

Precaution

It is important to note that these goals are minor things. Habits really, that you are trying to develop and make part of your life without ruining your life. This is meant to incentives you to work harder and achieve more not to be stressful. The goal should not be to use this or anything like this forever but to use for some time until habits are more fully formed.
